Earle Nelson Leonard is considered to be one of America’s first sex-slaying serial killers. He allegedly travelled across the US and into Canada, raping and murdering women.
I say “allegedly” because he was only ever tried and convicted of 1 murder – in Canada. But he is believed by authorities to be the murderer of more than 20 women.
